John Abbey / Founder, President
John is the Founder and President of Verus Technology Group, Inc. He brings more than 20 years of expertise in technology solution delivery to commercial, civilian, and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. He is the principal engineer for Verus’ SkyView CUAS IR&D efforts that have culminated in leading CUAS RF-based detection solutions. Prior to founding Verus, John served as the Senior Vice President of BIT Systems’ Enterprise Development division, providing executive and technical oversight over the delivery of mission-centric enterprise technology solutions to customers across the IC. Prior to his 10 years at BIT Systems, John served as a technology manager and architect at Accenture’s Government Solutions Center.
Josh Fisher / Vice President, Production
Josh is Vice President of Production at Verus Technology Group, Inc. He brings 20+ years of electronic, mechanical, and custom technical solution design experience beginning with his US Navy service as an aviation electronics technician. Prior to joining Verus, Josh served as the Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) Program Manager for the Department of State’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) and focused on defeating Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs). In that role, he engaged heavily with the DOD, USSOCOM, FBI, USSS, Intelligence Community, as well as FVEYs partners, and developed innovative security technology solutions ultimately provided to deployed Americans and allies in harm’s way.
